Proprietor / General manager. Studied classical percussion / orchestra music, psychology and educational science. Worked for more than 32 years as a university lecturer and drum & percussion teacher. Has composed numerous pieces for Germany’s ARD radio service. Works on the side as a coach and psychological cosultant for cultural institutions, musician, composer, speaker and reciter. He has headed the company since it was founded in 1992.

Project management, deputy management. He has been a freelance member of the Preissler Music team since 2013 and has been employed by us since 2021. In addition to supporting large and small concert projects, as an experienced stage manager he also enjoys accompanying tours of international orchestras in Germany and Europe. He combines his true passion for musical instruments with a high level of professional expertise for the artistic success of our worldwide customers.

Order processing, project management. He is a certified office administrator specializing in foreign languages and also performs on stages as a percussionist and conga player. It is precisely this combination that makes him a sought-after contact for events and concert projects by our national and international clients. Marcel has been part of our Preissler Music team since 2025 and is a full-time employee.

Martina Merländer | Preissler Music, Germany.Martina Merländer

Accounts. She has been part of the Preissler Music team since 2000, and as a qualified financial expert, she is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of her field. Outside of Preissler Music, she has been working full-time for nearly 30 years as a highly qualified and certified osteopath with special expertise in music medicine at her own practice in Berlin’s Westend (Charlottenburg). Practice ChiSaNatura

Stage service / stage management, instrument transport. Shogo has been part of the Preissler Music team since 2015 and is a full-time employee with us. We trained him, and he is an outstanding stage manager with extensive experience in touring with international orchestras. At home on stages throughout Germany and Europe, Shogo is a knowledgeable point of contact for classical orchestras from around the world.

Gabriel Abaurre Amaral | Preissler Music, Germany.Gabriel Amaral

Stage management, instrument transport. Gabriel has been part of our team since 2022 and is a permanent employee. He holds a Master of Arts in Music from the University of West London and is a specialist in music technology and recording. He is also a very experienced stage manager for classical music and jazz. Not least because of his extensive language skills, he is very popular with our clients and often tours with international orchestras.

Stage service / stage management, instrument transport, maintenance. He has been a permanent employee with us since 2026 and is very experienced in handling instruments. As a trained organ builder and stringed instrument maker, his responsibilities include ensuring the perfect maintenance of our instruments. Stefan keeps them in top condition to meet our customers’ highest expectations. And on the side, you might spot him on stage as a rock guitarist or bassist.

Frank Merländer | Preissler Music, Germany.Frank Merländer

Public relations, orchestra support, stage service. He studied law and business studies, and is a qualified coach. Language and communication are his specialty. Frank has been a permanent member of our team since 2011. On the side, he operates as a coach and mediator to state cultural institutions and companies in the event sector, by developing concepts that foster respectful, appreciative interactions based on a level playing field.

Benjamin Kriesel | Preissler Music, Germany.

Benjamin Kriesel

Stage service / stage management, instrument transport. He has been working as a freelancer with the Preissler Music team since 2024 and is highly conscientious and experienced in handling our musical instruments. Benjamin is the owner of the renowned guitar workshop GUITAR LOUNGE, where he works as a guitar restorer, guitar teacher, and freelance musician.

Stage service & stage management. Well trained by Preissler Music, he also works as a freelance musician, composer and propsman for well-known German TV shows. Marius has been a freelance member of the Preissler Music team since 2005. He has detailed knowledge of all our rental items, especially all of our backline equipment for jazz and rock. He also works as a drum technician.

Transport & stage service. Steve has been a freelance partner of our Preissler Music team since 2004. He providing a Europe-wide instrument transport service with his Semke company. Steve always has a solution to even the trickiest challenges when transporting high sensitive instruments. His specialty is the transport of valuable orchestral instruments over longer distances. Day and night – no matter where.
