It is not easy to find used musical instruments in good condition. With us in Berlin / Germany you can buy a constantly updated selection of good used musical instruments. They mostly come from our rental instrument stock. Some instruments have never been played and were only used as decoration objects / props in movie and TV productions. A few used instruments are put on sale by our customers.

All instruments offered for sale here are checked by our in-house workshop team. Stronger signs of wear or defects that we find are listed in the description for each instrument. However, most of the instruments offered here are in excellent condition!

Marching Snare Drum NEWSOUND, like new

Two marching snare drums in like-new condition are for sale individually from a private collection. Sizes: 14″ x 5.5″, steel shells, including folding leg rest. The batter head shows hardly any signs of use, and the resonant head looks brand new. There are no dents, scratches, or rust. Both are in perfect condition and are also available separately. Each comes with a free vintage PREMIER drum case.

Tuned singing bowl / rin ASIAN SOUND, tone E5

Here is a well-tuned singing bowl from ASIAN SOUND in Cologne for sale. It produces the note E5. The fundamental pitch is A4 = 443 Hz. The singing bowl is undamaged and flawless, and a small singing bowl mallet is included. The current retail price is Euro 160.00.

For sale is a high-quality, very well-tuned Japanese singing bowl from ASIAN SOUND in Cologne. The singing bowl is in like-new condition, solid, and heavy. It produces a crystal-clear G4 note. The fundamental pitch is A4 = 443 Hz. A small singing bowl mallet is also included. The current retail price is Euro 312.97.

Keyboard glockenspiel / Clavitimbre MUSTEL for sale – absolute rarity

For sale is a true treasure and an absolute rarity: a historic keyboard glockenspiel by MUSTEL from Paris, also known as clavitimbre. MUSTEL was the inventor of this very first keyboard glockenspiel in piano shape. Around 1950 they handcrafted only 150 of these instruments. Today, only a very few remain, primarily in museums and with private collectors. Hardly any of them are still playable. More information about the clavitimbre can be found on Wikipedia.

The MUSTEL keyboard glockenspiel offered here is uniquely preserved and fully functional. It has been cleaned, set up ready to play, and retuned to A4 = 443 Hz, the current orchestral tuning in Europe. The sound is fantastic, clear, and balanced. It shows only very minor signs of wear. Beautiful piano bench for sale, deluxe model

A beautiful piano bench in a high-gloss, elegant mahogany finish. The seat measures 57 x 32 cm and is upholstered in soft velour. Height adjustment is achieved via a high-quality scissor mechanism with needle bearings, allowing for stepless adjustment from 45 cm to 58 cm seat height.

We only used this truly beautiful piano bench for a week; it shows minimal signs of wear and is a real eye-catcher. SORRY, ALREADY SOLD!

Cello podium / harp podium from the timpani workshop HARDTKE

We are selling a mint and sturdy podium for cello or harp by HARDTKE. It is handcrafted from pinewood, features a raised outer edge on the chair side, and a sturdy aluminum edge protector on the instrument side. We used this podium for only one concert as a cellop podium; it worked wonderfully and is in perfect condition. The purchase price is EURO 350.00, including 19% VAT.

Used double bass RODERICH PAESOLD, 5-string

From our own rental stock we are selling this beautiful and really good-sounding used double bass from the German Roderich Paesold manufacture. Model 539, built in 2012, solid orchestral instrument in gamba shape, 5-string, size 3/4, strings: PIRASTRO “Original Flexocor”, scale: 105 cm, fixed bridge.

This double bass has been set up ready to play by the double bass maker Alain Herard in Berlin. It has no damage or cracks. Our sales price is EURO 4,900.00 including 19% VAT. For an additional charge we offer a professional and custom made PREISSLER MUSIC flight case for this double bass.

Original Thai Gong / Nipple Gong in gold colour

For sale is this wonderful golden Thai gong / nipple gong bought directly at GONGS UNLIMITED in the USA. The gong was handcrafted in Thailand on behalf of Gongs Unlimited. It is new and was never been played before. This gong was only used as wall decoration for a short time. The diameter is approx. 18 ” / approx. 46 cm. It sounds great! Unique master pieces for snare drum by the publisher Hofmeister Verlag: Wolfgang Preissler’s compositions, which are characterized by the traditional style of the famous Dresden drum school of his former teacher Heinrich Knauer, are highly musical, technically quite sophisticated and ideally suited as recital pieces or for all kinds of exams or music competitions. The solo pieces for Kleine Trommel, which were published by Friedrich Hofmeister Verlag in 2015, should not only be played for a short time, but should also be seen as a constant accompanist to the drummer. Wolfgang Preissler gave each of the 50 compositions names of tree species as a symbol of their longevity. Sales price EURO 19.80 (new).
