The cellos at our cello rental section in Berlin / Germany

We have more than 30 beautifully maintained cellos available for rent. Our cellos come in a range of different quality levels and from various manufacturers. Our rental selection ranges from professional cellos crafted in master workshops for use in classical orchestras, to mid-range or simpler cellos for youth orchestras, all the way to purely decorative cellos for photo shoots or cellos as props for film and TV productions. We only rent 4/4-size, full-size cellos.

Each of our rental cellos is packed in a sturdy carbon fiber cello case and strung with high-quality strings. We exclusively use cello strings from renowned manufacturers, such as D’Addario, Jargar, Larsen, Pirastro, and Thomastik.

Very important to know: We take your safety very seriously. That’s why we clean and disinfect every cello before handing over. In other words, our cellos are always free from old rosin and fingerprints left by other players. For better sound and a more hygienic, comfortable playing experience.

Cellos for concert tours by international orchestras

The sharp rise in the cost of transporting their own musical instruments has led international orchestras and soloists to increasingly rely on high-quality rental instruments available locally. This is precisely what we have specialized in for over 30 years through our professional cello rental service.

This means that each of our cellos – like all our string instruments –  can be used not only for concerts in Berlin and the state of Brandenburg, but also on concert tours / orchestra travels by international orchestras, whether transported by truck or air cargo within Germany and Europe.

We rent out very special cellos for photo shoots, or as musical props for TV & film productions, music videos, and streaming productions.

Electric cello for events, concerts, and studio recordings

Of course, no professional instrument rental service would be complete without an electric cello. That’s why you can also rent an electric cello from us for concerts and events of all kinds. Our electric cello is set up and ready to play and features a built-in active pickup system from SHADOW. It features a black body and neck, a sturdy fine-tuning peg, and separate controls for volume, treble, and bass.

We rent out our elegant electric cello complete with a belly rest and knee rest, a sturdy soft case, and a matching cello bow. Optionally, you can also rent a sturdy cello stand to go with this instrument.
