Flight case repair at Preissler Music flight case manufactory

In the repair workshop of our Berlin based flight case manufactory, we repair flight cases from all manufacturers. We replace defective side panels, lids, and locks, or replace broken casters. We also undertake the conversion of existing flight cases according to your specifications. We extend, widen, or raise flight cases – provided the existing cases meet the necessary requirements. Depending on the structural specifications of your existing flight case, we can also downsize them.

Repair of damaged flight case catches

We replaced a defective butterfly latch on this flight case. We removed the old latch, drilled out the old rivets, and enlarged the existing cutouts on the case door and the opposite side of the case to fit. We then installed the new latch and riveted it neatly. Although the flight case is quite old and has certainly seen a lot of the world, it can now travel safely again.
