Our timpani for high professional demands have handpicked SUPER KALFO natural heads from Ireland. They are packed in professional flight cases and come with a special trolley for easier handling on stage and back stage.
Here we highly recommend our brand new set of ADAMS "German Classic" timpani with Berlin pedal and the famous traditional "Berlin sound".
Timpani hire for concert tours / orchestra travels
All timpani from our timpani rental section are packed in custom-made Preissler flight cases. They can be used - like all our orchestral instruments - not only for concerts in Berlin and the surrounding countryside of Brandenburg. We also hire them for concert tours / orchestra travels in Germany and Europe with truck transport or Air Cargo. No matter if Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, or Prague, Paris, Barcelona and Amsterdam. Under certain circumstances even world wide.
Hire of timpani with international tuning system - our special for incoming orchestras to Germany & Europe
We also offer rental timpani with international / American tuning system for set-up the largest timpani on the left side and the smallest timpani on the right side seen from the player. Very important to know: In Germany it is the other way around.
Accessories for timpani to hire
We rent special timpani chairs with swivelling seat, holders for timpani mallets / mallet rakes made by KOLBERG and a wide range of professional timpani mallets of different brands.
Our special customer service
- If requested, we transport the timpani within Berlin, Germany and Europe and with our experienced Stage Service Team we offer the complete set-up and dismantle on the stage at site. Day and night - at any time.
- Our rental timpani are insured for the entire hire period in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
- Protection against infection: Before and after each rental, all of our timpani and other rental objects are disinfected against viruses and bacteria.

Rental of historic Baroque Timpani / Screw Timpani
We offer best-restored baroque timpani with copper kettles for rent. These timpani are unique originals, handmade in the 17th / 18th century and ideally suited for compositions by W.A. Mozart, J. S. Bach, J. Haydn, etc.! Suitable to these timpani we have an assortment of timpani mallets for hire, turned by hand according to historic originals. Our baroque timpani are also packed in custom-made timpani flight cases so that they can be safely transported even for orchestra tours.
The following instruments are available for hire
Absolutely unique pair of baroque timpani with finest copper kettles, inner funnels made from copper and ornaments with gold leaf as fittings. These excellent timpani are optionally equipped with exquisite and handpicked KALFO calf heads from Ireland or finest goat heads from Altenburg / Germany. All our Baroque timpani have hand-reversed wooden cross stands with levelling screw for compensating floor bumps on uneven floors.
Extensively restored pair of noble screw timpani with hand-hammered copper kettles, fittings decorated with genuine gold leaf and 24 carat hard gold-plated tuning screws. These first-class kettle drums are made by Gustav Wunderlich in Altenburg / Germany around 1870. They are equipped with especially for these timps handpicked KALFO calf heads from Ireland. All our screw timpani have hand-reversed wooden cross stands with levelling screw for compensating floor bumps on uneven floors.
